On July 14th, we had a person file a chargeback for items they purchased in our store on July 6th.

Their software glitches out on a monthly basis, their customer service has you in circles before anything gets done. It took them 2 months to send us the proper hardware to even start using their POS, yet they were quick to charge us for our subscription for the first 2 months. I run a small business and I have lost out on money due to their customer service being abysmal, their software not working for entire days and hardware not functioning properly. I do not recommend this company!My experience with Lightspeed has been terrible from start to finish. We kept Pineapple Express LLC informed and came to a resolution on. The returned hardware was received incomplete. Lightspeed responded to request and 11/23/22 with return shipping information and labels. Pineapple Express LLC contacted Support to request a subscription cancellation and refund on. Customers can also submit a request through the ****************** and a Retail Support agent will email them back as soon as possible. In regards to communication, our Support call times will vary based on incoming call bandwidth. The customer was notified of the refund and that it will be processed in the coming business days. Upon an internal review, Lightspeed has exceptionally approved a refund on their 1 month paid subscription and hardware.

The hardware was returned on and was marked as incomplete. Any purchased hardware from Lightspeed are eligible for a return within 30 days of purchase, unopened and unused. With regards to the complaint posted by Pineapple Express LLC, the hardware items referenced were returned in a non-creditable condition. I have been on this nightmare train with them since November with trying to get my money back. Finally, the confirmed the items were received and they are now denying me my refund and refuse to give an explanation. The items were received on December 2nd and every time I called to check the status, they gave me the run around and pretended they didn't have it, sending me more shipping labels. It took over two weeks for that to happen. I asked him SEVERAL times for a label so that the items could be returned.

For example, he sent me an Ipad for the system, but the actual barcode printer is only compatible with IMAC and Windows 10. It turns out **** sent a whole bunch of items that weren't even compatible with each other or anything else that I had. The cost of everything sold to me came up to almost $1600 (this included the CC machine). I purchased POS hardware equipment from LightSpeed POS through their representative *************************. The customer service at this company is also beyond DISGUSTING! Every time you call for assistance you are on hold ***** min at a time.

Based on my inability to get support for resolution, the hardship and time this has caused me, their failure to support me in resolution and support when attempting to contact them, all hardware that was received return to them and un-used, I am requesting a full refund from this company for all charges with the exception of the annual charge that was indicated to me upon initial sign up. In one instance I have had a representative get back to me and again my issue has not been resolved as indicated. I have continued to reach out for resolution, when attempting to reach out for assistance and resolution I have been hung up on. Following cancellation I have also been billed additionally by lightspeed without my authorization. Following cancellation later in 2022 it has been nearly impossible to get ahold of the company for resolution. Following signup I was billed on a monthly basis for their service which I never implemented. At the time of sign up I was told that it was an annual charge. In mid 2022 I signed up for light speed retail POS system at recommendation of a bicycle supplier for my small business.
